"Marinated mackerel"

This recipe is about how to love mackerel, even if you used to treat this fish with coolness. All you need for this is a good marinade. Actually, we have already taken care of him.

In addition to the excellent taste, marinated mackerel is very good for our heart, because it is rich in Omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins. We think that now you have no doubts about the preparation of this delicious snack.

Ingredients

2 frozen mackerel

3 tsp. coarse sea salt

4 bay leaves

½ tsp. black peppercorns

5 grains of allspice

½ tsp. coriander seeds

2 buds of cloves

Rinse the mackerel thoroughly, and remove the head, tail, and guts. Clean the fish from the inside to remove any black membranes. Cut off the fins and cut into 2 cm thick pieces

Prepare the marinade. To do this, pour 400 ml of water into the pan and add 3 tsp. coarse sea salt, 4 bay leaves, ½ tsp. of whole black peppercorns,5 grains of allspice, 2 buds of cloves, and ½ tsp. coriander seeds

Place the saucepan on medium heat, bring it to a boil, and simmer for 3-4 minutes until the salt is completely dissolved. Stir occasionally. Allow the prepared marinade to cool to room temperature

Arrange the pieces of mackerel in jars with screw-on lids and pour the marinade over them, ensuring that it completely covers the pieces. Close the jars with lids and refrigerate for at least one day. The dish can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 7 days
