Factory History

The LLC "Sambirskyi Milk Plant" is the legal successor of the Sambirskyi Milk Plant, which was founded in 1940 on the basis of a former brewery. Later in 1960, a cheese factory was completed for the production of hard "Russian" cheese in Sambir and hard "Estonian" cheese in Rudky.
In 1973, the whole-milk products workshop in Sambir was reconstructed, significantly expanding the range of products. In the 2000s, the cheese production workshop in Sambir was reconstructed, the production of "Estonian" hard cheese was relocated, and the production of "Gouda" and "Marmurkovyi" cheeses was introduced.
2002 – 2003 Thankful we received support from the Royal Kingdom of Netherlands. We good build a new cooling storehouse for cheese. Get for 20-milk collect in villages points equipment. Training of Hygiene, HACCP so even the introduction of Gouda cheese production.
Dutch Program PSO+ was in cooperation with Mr. Willibrordus van der Weide and Mr. Josten Horn from Netherlands. Implementation of all goals according the international agreement. This project between Netherlands-Ukraine became a very positive nomination.
2016 – 2017 Reconstruction of buildings started.
2018 – 2019 Complete new Gouda cheese production line.
2020 – Installation new natural milk butter line.
2022 – Installation new cream-cheese line.
